Pune: In a momentous announcement, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has revealed an ambitious plan to address traffic congestion in Pune by investing a staggering sum of Rs 55,000 crores in a network of elevated roadways. Gadkari made this announcement during the 40th Annual General Meeting of Credai Pune Metro.

As per the information provided, the central focus of this colossal project is to reduce travel time between Nagpur and Pune to an astonishing 4.5 hours, which promises to reshape regional connectivity.

Additionally, a comprehensive ring road system is slated for development, which could potentially allow commuters to traverse Pune in just an hour.

Based on the information received, it has been observed that Gadkari, a visionary leader, is fervently encouraging developers to explore the outskirts of Pune, promoting the creation of smart villages as an alternative to traditional smart cities.
