A video from Maharashtra showing a woman driver using her MG Astor to forcefully inch forward and push a traffic policeman has gone viral, sparking outrage online. The incident, originally shared on Reddit, has drawn widespread criticism, though details about the exact location and date remain unclear.

The clip shows a traffic officer standing in front of the SUV, attempting to stop the vehicle. Instead of halting, the driver slowly moves forward, compelling the officer to back away step by step. At one point, the visibly frustrated officer can be heard urging a bystander to record the incident, saying, “Video bana.”

Although the lead-up to the altercation isn’t captured, the driver’s actions have provoked a strong response on social media. Users are calling for legal action, citing growing concerns about the disregard for traffic laws and the safety of on-duty officers.

This episode adds to a troubling trend of dangerous behavior behind the wheel being caught on camera. In Delhi, a separate viral video showed a luxury SUV dragging a constable on its bonnet after the driver refused to comply with a stop order. In another alarming case, two officers were allegedly hit and dragged by a car for nearly 20 meters.

Calls for accountability and stricter enforcement are growing louder, with many demanding that the driver in the MG Astor be charged for endangering the life of the officer.
