The National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for the year 2021-22 were distributed by President Droupadi Murmu for outstanding achievements by the State Government and NGOs recently.
The National Awards were given to four individuals, one organisation and Akola Zilla Parishad. for successfully implementing the ‘Sugmya Bharat’ campaign for the disabled.

After receiving an award by the hands of President Murmu, Vimal expressed that these were the sweet fruits of her hard work and dedication.
