Women’s Club Kharadi holds street carnival, raises funds for Re 1 clinic

Women’s Club Kharadi had organized a flea market for the women entrepreneurs on December 11 at City Vista where nearly 40 stalls were put up. At least 1000 people visited the exhibition, including 500 children. The exhibition was inaugurated by former MLA Jagdish Mulik, BJP city president and by former MLA Bapusaheb Pathare.

The day started with a free workshop on self-defense for children and ladies. Almost hundred people attended this seminar which was followed by a inter-school dance competition called dance battle in which 28 schools & dance groups participated with eminent judges like Satish Konjeti, Jayaprada Biswal & Manisha Sahay & Abhay Gupta.

The 20 best NGOs of Pune were recognized and awarded. The chief guest for the awards’ ceremony was Dr Ganesh Rakh and Beti Bachao founder and lieutenant Colonel Nitin Joshi.

The president Seema Tanwar especially thanked the Deepak Patil, KHSWA & whole core team for their voluntary work in the fund raiser event to support their Re 1 clinic in Kharadi.
