Students from various districts come to Pune for MPSC examinations. On December 19th, a staged a protest on Shastri road demanding that the new pattern of state services main examination be implemented from 2025 onwards.

There was news doing the rounds that the new pattern will be implemented from 2023. Students voiced their concerns and said that they cannot adapt to sudden changes.

“MPSC has full rights to make changes. They have issued the order today. Change in the exam pattern will give students an opportunity to score well. Maybe following the old pattern can make the process easier. Students should protest if there is a delay in examination or interview and not for these reasons,” said Rutuja Naik, MPSC passed out.

Baliram Dole,  a MPSC student said, “With sudden change of pattern by MPSC, students studying for the MCQ pattern will face the problem. This descriptive pattern should be followed from 2025.”
