Viman Nagar : Five arrested for vandalizing the Pune Aeromall

Pune: A bizarre incident has come to the fore from Aeromall near Pune Airport, involving five men for allegedly engaging in acts of vandalism, assault and attempted murder, said police.

The accused have been identified as Milind Balaso Gadve (38) resident of Sangli, Manoj Ashok Pawar (26) resident of Lohegaon, Ayush Anil Pawar (19) resident of  Lohegaon, Suraj Raju Garud (23) resident of Lohegaon, and Omkar Babu Barneth (18), resident of Lohegaon. 

As per the information, the incident took place at Gate Number 1 of Aeromall on May 28. The accused individuals entered the mall with the intention of causing fear and panic amongst the people by damaging public property, specifically the H.H.M.D and plastic chairs. 

Pradeep Kharat, Head Manager, Aeromall has filed a complaint at the Vimantal police station.

Consequently, the police have arrested the accused individuals and have filed a case against them under sections 308, 337, 143, 147, 149, 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as well as section 7 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act. 

The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
