Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray shared the video online, criticizing the government’s failure to address the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. Thackeray’s post highlighted the fact that the assault occurred in broad daylight and criticized the lack of intervention from bystanders.

Raigad police have confirmed that Sonavale has been arrested and a case has been filed. According to the police, the attack stemmed from a personal dispute between Sonavale and the victim over a broken car window. The police report states that the incident occurred on September 7, and both the attacker and the victim are known to each other.

In response to the incident, MLA Thorve has dismissed the allegations, claiming that the video is being used by political rivals to damage his reputation. He suggested that both individuals involved were party workers and that the incident was being manipulated for political gain.

The incident has led to criticism from Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders, who have condemned the state government’s handling of crime and law enforcement. They have accused Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis of failing to maintain order and have called for his resignation.
