Vistadome Coaches Soar in Popularity, Garnering Rs 21.95 Crores in Revenue with in 10 months

The Vista Dome coaches on Central Railway have become increasingly popular, attracting 1,47,429 passengers and generating revenue of Rs 21.95 crores from April 2023 to January 2024.

These coaches offer stunning views of valleys, rivers, and waterfalls along the Mumbai-Goa route, as well as the scenic Western Ghats along the Mumbai-Pune route, making them a favorite among passengers. Additionally, the occupancy rates and revenue generated by various trains featuring Vistadome coaches have been outlined, showcasing their success on different routes.

Moreover, due to high demand, these coaches have been added to several other trains, providing passengers with enhanced travel experiences. The Vistadome coaches are equipped with features such as glass rooftops, wide windowpanes, LED lights, rotatable seats, pushback chairs, electrically operated automatic sliding compartment doors, wide side sliding doors for passengers with disabilities, toilets with ceramic tile flooring, and viewing galleries.
