In a recent incident, a Vistara flight, operating the route from Delhi to Pune, was compelled to make an unexpected return to the departure city after encountering turbulent weather conditions that led to the development of a crack in its windscreen. The incident took place on Tuesday, causing a brief panic among passengers onboard.

The flight, designated as UK 991, initiated its journey from Delhi at approximately 5:20 PM. Just an hour later, at around 6:20 PM, a passenger took to social media to recount the aircraft’s unsettling encounter with 45 to 90 seconds of turbulence. The abrupt jolt caused distress among passengers, resulting in some raising alarmed voices.

In response to the situation, the flight’s pilot promptly executed a decision to turn the aircraft around and head back to Delhi. The Airbus A-320, carrying over 100 passengers, had originally been en route to Pune and was slated to arrive at 7:50 PM.

The authorities at Vistara informed that the flight reached Pune at night. The airline stated that the Pune bound flight reached the airport at 22.50 PM.
