In an effort to combat noise pollution and its harmful effects, a group of concerned citizens in Pune have organized an awareness program called “Voice Against Noise.”

The event, which will take place on April 19th from 4 PM onwards at the Joggers Park Library in Kalyani Nagar, aims to sensitize administrative authorities, police, citizens, and other responsible stakeholders on the importance of reducing noise pollution. The initiative is organised by Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar.

The event will feature presentations by professional speakers and doctors, who will highlight the ill effects of noise pollution on human health and the environment. The speakers will also share their insights on how individuals and communities can take proactive steps to reduce noise pollution.

Following the presentations, there will be an interactive session where attendees can engage in a dialogue with the speakers and share their own experiences with noise pollution. The event is being organized by Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar, with the support of residents from affected localities across Pune.

Noise pollution is a growing concern in urban areas, with detrimental effects on physical and mental health, as well as the environment.
