Wakad: Vedanta Society Celebrates Ganpati Mandir Vardhapan Diwas and Shiv Jayanti
Pune, March 18: Vedanta Society, Wakad, commemorated Ganpati Mandir Vardhapan Diwas and Shiv Jayanti on March 17 with great devotion and enthusiasm. The celebrations featured a blend of religious rituals and community activities, bringing together devotees and residents.
The event commenced in the morning with a Ganpati Yag Pooja and Nandi Pranpratisthapana, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. A Blood Donation Camp was organized in the evening from 5 to 7 PM, promoting social service among attendees. This was followed by the Atharvashirsha Pathan, a grand Shiv Jayanti Rally, and the Maha Aarti, culminating in a Mahaprasad that fostered community bonding.
Prominent personalities, including Vinayak Dada Gaikwad, Rambhau Wakadkar, Sneha Tai Kalate, and Swaraj Kalate, graced the occasion during the Maha Aarti. The success of the event was attributed to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Somnath Dhonde (Chairman), Sneha Rao (Secretary), Pramod Bhosale (Treasurer), and committee members Sumant Deshpande, Vinayak Kadam, Parag Rudrawar, Shantanu Deshpande, Nikhil Muly, Madan Patil, Mayur Waghmare, Amol Kulkarni, Sarjerao Ghade, Niti Pathak, Shraddha Meshram, Vishakha Deshpande, Asmita Rudrawar, Sheetal Deshmukh, Shubhdada Patil, Komal Waghmare, Swati Kadam, and Jayshree Ohulkar.
