Ward 25: BJP Panel Strengthens Campaign in Tathawade; Pawar, Navale and Local Families Extend Support
Tathawade: Candidates Shruti Ram Wakadkar, Rahul Kalate, Reshma Bhujbal and Kunal Wavhalakar begin the campaign after seeking blessings at the village temple.
Wakad, January 8: With municipal elections approaching, the BJP panel from Ward 25 held a vigorous campaign in Tathawade. The outreach began with a coconut-breaking ceremony at the Narasimha Temple, followed by a padayatra through Tathawade Gaothan. Candidates assured villagers that under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, development and civic works in the area would continue with consistency and a clear vision for the future.

The padayatra started from the Narasimha Temple and moved through Raghunandan Office, Khambete Vasti and Londhe Vasti. The event saw strong participation from citizens along with the BJP’s official Ward 25 candidates Rahul Tanaji Kalate, Shruti Ram Wakadkar, Reshma Chetan Bhujbal and Kunal Wavhalakar. Leaders and active locals including Ram Wakadkar, Chetan Bhujbal, Santosh Pawar, Balasaheb Sapkal, Suresh Pawar, Ashok Pawar, Sitaram Pawar, Patilbua Pawar, Aniket Navale, Bharti Vinode, Jaydeep Pawar, Nagesh Pawar, Laxmanrao Mohite, Mayur Pawar, Sanjay Pawar, Santosh Kadam, Vasantrao Navale, Chandrakant Wadkar, Ganesh Sapkal, Jeevan Navale, Nikhil Navale, Jalindar Fengse, Balasaheb Shinde (Gurav), Pandurang Shinde, Vijay Waghule, Sandeep Parkhi, Girish Darshale, Devidas Pawar, Rajendra Pawar, Maruti Pawar, Sonawane, Jadhav and Nikam were present along with a large number of party workers and residents.

Resolving traffic congestion and other civic issues will require wider main roads, connecting streets and elevated corridors. The BJP campaign is receiving strong local support, and guidance from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will help accelerate planned development in Tathawade,”

Pawars Join BJP in Tathawade – In a significant development, prominent Tathawade leader and Shiv Sena Chinchwad Assembly Vice President Santosh Pawar joined the BJP in the presence of Cabinet Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Along with him, Sharad Pawar, Nagesh Pawar and Jaydeep Pawar also joined and have begun campaigning for the BJP panel in Ward 25. Santosh Pawar had secured the second-highest vote total here in the 2017 municipal elections, strengthening the BJP’s position with key local support.
