Another humorously quipped, “What happens when you don’t get a visa to your desired foreign country.”

Offering insight into local customs, a third user shared, “Five years back we did a culture research in Punjab, and to our surprise, we found many families installing water tanks shaped as airplane, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, etc.

This was a way of showing others that one of the sons/family members has moved abroad (even if they are driving a taxi there).”

Adding to the jest, another commenter joked, “Now people can visit this house to see the Statue of Liberty, no need to fly to New York.”

Notably, the region is renowned for its quirky statues and structures adorning rooftops, buildings, homes, and water tanks.

The Statue of Liberty, a monumental symbol on Liberty Island in Upper New York Bay, commemorates the enduring friendship between the United States and France. Towering at 305 feet (93 meters) high, including its pedestal, the statue depicts a woman holding a torch aloft in her right hand and a tablet inscribed with the adoption date of the Declaration of Independence in her left. Crafted in Paris by the French sculptor Bartholdi, in collaboration with Gustave Eiffel, the visionary engineer behind the Eiffel Tower, the statue stands as an enduring symbol of freedom and hope.

As this ambitious project unfolds in Punjab’s Tarn Taran, it serves as a testament to the enduring allure and universal significance of Lady Liberty.
