Despite not feeling well after Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) recent IPL 2024 match, Shah Rukh Khan made a specially-abled fan’s day by hugging him and posing for pictures.

The actor and KKR co-owner was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to attend KKR’s match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. KKR secured their place in the IPL final with an impressive eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1. The next day, Shah Rukh was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad due to severe dehydration.

A heartwarming video has since surfaced on social media, capturing Shah Rukh’s interaction with a specially-abled fan after the playoff match.

Despite looking visibly tired and being accompanied by his manager and security team, Shah Rukh did not disappoint the fan. He stopped to greet the fan warmly and even gave him a hug, creating a touching moment that has garnered much love from his fans online.

Juhi Chawla, Shah Rukh’s longtime co-star and fellow KKR co-owner, provided a health update after visiting him in the hospital. Along with her husband Jay Mehta and Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, Juhi visited Shah Rukh in Ahmedabad. She assured fans that Shah Rukh is on the mend and is expected to be back in time to support KKR in the IPL 2024 finals on Sunday.

“Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals,” Juhi said.

Shah Rukh’s dedication to his fans, even when under the weather, has once again demonstrated his warm and approachable nature, endearing him further to his admirers.
