The mesmerizing footage, captured by renowned travel photographer Raj Mohan, highlights the scenic beauty of the picturesque landscape.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Vaishnaw described the journey as a “Scenic rail journey over India’s largest inland salt lake,” accompanied by the captivating video. Since its upload, the video has garnered significant attention, amassing over 174,000 views and more than 10,000 likes. Users flooded the comments section with admiration for the mesmerizing visuals, expressing their pride in India’s natural beauty.

Sambhar Salt Lake, situated in east-central Rajasthan, holds the distinction of being India’s largest saline lake and serves as a haven for nature enthusiasts. Its unique landscape, often adorned with salt sheets resembling snow from a distance, adds to its allure. According to historical accounts, the lake is believed to have been created in the 6th century by the goddess Shakambari, a form of Durga.
