While temperatures continue to fluctuate across the state, Vidarbha has recorded a significant dip in minimum temperatures, making conditions especially harsh during the morning and evening hours.

According to IMD reports, Nagpur and Gondia districts have recorded single-digit minimum temperatures, intensifying concerns over the growing cold wave conditions. The cold is also being felt during daytime in some areas, indicating a prolonged winter impact across the region.

Cold conditions have intensified in Vidarbha with Nagpur and Gondia recording temperatures as low as 9°C. The IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for Nagpur, Gondia, and Yavatmal districts due to a cold wave warning on December 7.
