What about these abandoned vehicles ?

Several abandoned vehicles around Sunshree Suntec, Sunflower apartments which are taking up public space and also obstructing traffic have become a cause of worry for the residents.

They fear it could become a hub for illegal activity. The residents and shopkeepers have in the past also raised complaints on Pune Municipal Corporation’s online portal. The residents are seeking support from PMC and the traffic police department in removing these vehicles and keeping the area free of such abandoned vehicles.

A shopkeeper in Sunshree Suntec complained that five vehicles have been parked outside Sunflower Apartments, NIBM Road for a very long time. There is one truck, two tempos, one car and auto at the said stop. ” I have complained many times before but no action has been taken in past 9-10 months,” says the shopkeeper, who does not want to be named.

Rajendra Shelke, Police Inspector, Traffic division, Kondhwa assured to look into the matter and resolve it.
