WhatsApp Rival Samvad App: Security Test Passed, Launch Date Unconfirmed

Samvad App, a potential rival to WhatsApp, has successfully passed the DRDO security test, clearing Trust Assurance Level 4 (TAL-4). 

The app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. This information was shared by DRDO on its social media platform.

Samvad has been garnering attention as a potential alternative to WhatsApp due to its similar features. The app has been in the news for a while now, and its launch process is gradually progressing.

Currently, a beta version of the Samvad app can be downloaded from the CDoT website. Users need to sign up by entering their email address, department, group, organization, location, and other details. However, the app is not yet available for public launch.

The official release date for the general public has not been announced yet. The government is yet to confirm when the app will be made available to everyone.
