Pune, January 2026

At a time when early education is largely focused on classrooms and curriculum, Windsor House Early Years is entering Pune’s preschool landscape with a broader promise: to become the village that supports both children and their parents.

Launching this month in Koregaon Park, Windsor House is an experiential preschool and daycare built around the concept of the “Windsor Tribe”- a 360-degree ecosystem designed to support early learning, parenting, and childcare under one roof.

“The early years are not just formative for children, they are transformative for parents too,” says the Windsor House founding team. “Windsor Tribe was created to ensure families don’t navigate this phase alone.”

The Windsor Tribe model extends beyond traditional schooling to include structured daycare services, parenting guidance, access to child psychology support, and regular touchpoints designed to help parents understand their child’s development. The approach positions the school not just as a place children attend, but as an ongoing support system for families.

At the core of Windsor House’s academic offering is a play-based pedagogy translated into hands-on, experiential learning. The curriculum draws inspiration from the Pennsylvania early learning framework, elements of Reggio Emilia and Montessori, and is aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) and early years standards.

What sets Windsor House apart is how these philosophies are brought to life through structured programmes rather than remaining theoretical.

One such offering is the Windsor Clubs – specialised learning tracks that allow children to explore interests beyond the classroom. These include clubs for dramatics, coding, life skills, and the Curiosity Programme, an inquiry-led initiative unique to Windsor House. The programme encourages children to ask questions, investigate ideas, and learn through exploration and discovery rather than instruction alone.

“Children are naturally curious. Our role is not to give them answers, but to create environments where questions lead learning,” the team explains.

Daily learning experiences at Windsor House are designed to integrate movement, storytelling, creative expression, collaboration, and independent exploration. Every philosophy the school stands for is intentionally converted into experiences children can engage with meaningfully.

The centre also addresses the practical realities of urban parenting, offering integrated preschool and daycare services with consistent caregivers, predictable routines, and age-appropriate care. Safety, emotional wellbeing, and continuity form the foundation of daily operations.

The launch event will reflect Windsor House’s experiential philosophy, replacing formal speeches with guided walkthroughs and activity zones that mirror a child’s day at the school.

As Pune continues to grow as a city of young, working families, Windsor House Early Years aims to offer an alternative early education model—one that blends learning, care, and community into a single, cohesive ecosystem.
