In a groundbreaking event, the world’s first Artificial Intelligence Beauty Pageant is set to take place, featuring virtual models and influencers vying for a grand cash prize of $20,000. Hosted by Fanvue, a subscription-based platform known for hosting virtual models, the pageant is held in partnership with the World AI Creator Awards (WAICA).

These AI models will undergo rigorous evaluation based on various criteria, including the technical sophistication involved in their creation, their social media presence and following, as well as their online engagement.

According to the contest rules, “Miss AI welcomes creations produced from any type of generator, whether it’s DeepAI, Midjourney, or your tool.”

A panel of four judges will preside over the competition, comprising two AI-generated judges, Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini, with sizable Instagram followings of over 300,000 and 250,000, respectively.

Joining them are Sally-Ann Fawcett, a renowned beauty pageant historian and author, and Andrew Bloch, a distinguished entrepreneur and PR adviser.

“The creator economy is an extremely exciting place to be in right now, and with the help of our platform, there’s been exponential growth in AI creators entering the space, growing their fanbases, and monetizing content,” People magazine quoted Fanvue Co-Founder, Will Monanage

The winner of the pageant, to be announced on May 10th, will receive a cash prize of $5,000 along with a promotion on the Fanvue platform. Additionally, they will be provided with PR support valued at over $5,000.

Prizes will also be awarded to the second and third-place models. An online award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the end of the month, marking a significant milestone in the realm of AI and beauty pageantry.
