Young Businessman Fatally Shot in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A tragic incident unfolded in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar’s Waluj area as a young businessman, Sachin Sahebrao Narode (35), was fatally shot on Sunday night. Originally from Sillegaon in Gangapur tehsil and residing in Sarjapur, Narode was identified as the victim. The Waluj MIDC police station has launched an investigation into the case against an unidentified assailant.

“Narode operated a factory in the Waluj area, which had been closed for about four months due to unspecified reasons,” stated the police. Witnesses reported Narode receiving a phone call around 7:30 pm on Sunday before he headed towards an open area near Khavlya Mountain.

Locals rushed to the scene upon hearing a loud noise, only to find Narode lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He was pronounced dead at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) following an examination.

Narode had recently been residing with his family in Krantinagar, Shajapur after his automobile spare parts business closed. According to sources, he had transitioned to selling sand and working as a property agent.

The police are investigating whether Narode had any disputes with known individuals or faced professional rivalries that could have led to the attack. Inspector Krishna Shinde and his team are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrator behind this heinous crime.
