25-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling from 24th Floor of Petkar Siona in Ravet; Accidental Death Case Registered
Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune | February 26, 2026: A 25-year-old man died after falling from the 24th floor of a residential building in the Ravet area of Pimpri-Chinchwad late Tuesday night. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Ravet Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Vaibhav Sutar. The incident took place at the Petkar Siona society in Ravet. According to police, no suicide note was found at the scene, and it remains unclear whether the death was a case of suicide or if foul play was involved.
However, based on a complaint filed by Sutar’s friends at Ravet Police Station, he allegedly jumped from the 24th floor of the building. On Tuesday night, Sutar had visited the residence of his friend, entrepreneur Saurabh Tapkir, in the same society. The incident reportedly occurred between 1:30 am and 2:00 am.
Police officials said Sutar had informed his family that he was stepping out for work before going to his friend’s residence.
The police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation is underway. Police Inspector Nitin Fatangare of Ravet Police Station confirmed that the matter is being probed to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
