The Hinjawadi police station, Pimpri Chinchwad police, arrested a 41-year-old businessman on Sunday. He supposedly fired a shot from his licensed pistol inside a restaurant in Mhalunge on Saturday evening, trying to impress some new acquaintances.

The situation was revealed when the restaurant manager reported the incident the next day. The police stated that the businessman, who has a restaurant and lives in Susgaon, is facing charges under sections 110 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with applicable sections of the Indian Arms Act. His licensed gun has been taken away.

To impress his new buddies, the businessman apparently took out his licensed gun and fired a shot into the wall. “The restaurant manager, startled by the gunshot, informed the owner first before filing a formal complaint on Sunday,” as mentioned by Shelke.
