Salman Khan Receives Another Death Threat: Extortionist Demands Rs 2 Crore; Mumbai Police Launch Investigation
Another threat has been issued to Salman Khan, demanding Rs 2 crore in ransom, as police intensify their investigation.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received yet another death threat, this time demanding a ransom of Rs 2 crore. The threat was sent to Mumbai Traffic Police, warning that failure to pay could result in the actor’s death. This is not the first instance of such threats; just last month, on October 18, Khan received a demand for Rs 5 crore, allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
After investigating, Mumbai Police arrested a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur, who had attempted to exploit the high-profile case by issuing a false threat.
Following the latest message, Mumbai Police registered a case against an unknown suspect in Worli and launched an immediate investigation.
In a related incident, Zeeshan Siddique, son of the late Baba Siddique, received a threatening call at his Bandra office. The caller issued threats against both Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, who is currently running for office in the Bandra East constituency on an NCP ticket. Responding to the threat, Mumbai Police swiftly arrested the 20-year-old accused, identified as Gurfan Khan, in Noida. The incident follows the tragic October 12 shooting of Baba Siddique in Bandra East, for which Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility.
