Who is Gaurav Ahuja?
Ahuja and his father, Manoj Ahuja, have a criminal background. In 2021, when Ahuja was just 20 years old, he was booked for gambling and kidnapping at the Airport Police Station in Pune. He was allegedly part of a cricket betting gang led by notorious Pune gangster Sachin Pote.
The gang targeted college students, luring them into betting. Many students fell into debt and were forced to commit thefts at their own homes to repay the money. Those who failed to pay were kidnapped by the gang.

Authorities are now investigating further links in Ahuja’s activities and determining if additional charges need to be pressed. Pune Police are expected to make an official statement once he is in their custody.
