On International Women’s Day, Mireya Foundation took a simple yet powerful step to honor and appreciate women from all walks of life. The founders Riddhiema Viirdii and Smrite Mody distributed roses to 50 women working on the streets including vegetable vendors, security guards, blind sweepers, and many others, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to society.
The initiative wasn’t just about handing out flowers; it was a message of recognition and respect. Too often, the hard work of women in informal sectors goes unnoticed.
