Pune: Raid On Ayurvedic Massage Center In Swargate Reveals Prostitution Racket; 6 Girls Rescued, Spa Operator Booked
Pune, September 24, 2025: Pune police conducted a raid on a massage center operating under the guise of an Ayurvedic massage center and running a prostitution racket. Six young women were rescued, and a case has been registered against the female manager of the spa.
The action took place on September 23 at around 4:45 PM at the Vasundhara Ayurvedic Massage Center in Gulmohar Society, Market Yard area. The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), acting on information about illegal activities at the center, coordinated the raid along with officers from Swargate Police Station.
Police Constable Ashruba Changdev Morale filed the complaint at Swargate Police Station. During the operation, six girls were rescued, and a case was registered against the spa’s female manager for involvement in running the illegal business.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of Additional Police Commissioner Pankaj Deshmukh, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingale, Inspector Ashalata Khapre of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Assistant Police Officers Chhaya Jadhav and Ajay Rane, and police staff including Tushar Bhivarkar, Imran Khan Nadaf, Amey Rasal, Kishor Bhujbal, and Senior Inspector Yashwant Nikam from Swargate Police Station.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
