Pune: 19 Year Old Biker Hit By Water Tanker On NIBM Road, Driver Held
Pune, April 5, 2026:
A tragic road accident was reported near Cloud 9 society close to Anandvan area, leaving residents shaken. The incident occurred when a young individual, believed to be around 18–19 years old, was struck by a water tanker.
The incident took place today evening around 5 pm.
According to initial information, the impact of the collision was severe.
Officials from Kalepadal Police Station reached the spot soon after receiving the alert. Senior Police Inspector Mansing Patil confirmed that the tanker driver has been taken into custody.
The injured victim’s condition has not been officially disclosed yet. Authorities are in the process of gathering evidence and further information.
