Pimpri Chinchwad Police launches whatsapp number to report extortion by Mathadi workers
Pimpri-Chinchwad: Following the meeting of Pune City Police with the industrial representatives regarding various issues faced due to Mathadi workers, a whatsapp number 95296 91966 has been launched.
The announcement regarding the same was made by Pimpri Chinchwad police through the official twitter account. The tweet read thus – Unauthorised mathadi workers harassing industries/business establishments or citizens will not be tolerated. Report such incidents on WhatsApp number 95296 91966. Sternest action to be taken!”
Speaking about this, police Inspector Ravsaheb Jadhav of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate said, “We have started a whatsapp number two days ago for the industries, businesses facing any kind of harassment or money extortion from unauthorised mathadi workers. Citizens can complain through the whatsapp number and should not tolerate anything wrong happening to them.”
