Pune : UniQare multi speciality hospital in Pimple Saudagar catches fire
Rahatani: A fire broke out in the first floor of UniQare multi-speciality hospital in Kate Vasti, Pimple Saudagar on Sunday, January 29. Short-circuit looks to be reason behind the incident which happened at 10 pm on Sunday. Upon receiving information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Fortunately no injury was reported.
The officer at Rahatani fire station said, “A fire incident was reported and we immediately rushed to the spot. The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes. Only the first floor of the hospital caught fire and no person was injured.”
A member of Unnati Foundation reported the fire incident to the fire department after noticing it. Sanjay Bhise, founder of Unnati Foundation said, “I received a call from one of my foundation members that a hospital had caught fire. Fortunately, there were less patients in the hospital and the present were shifted to other places inside the campus to avoid injury. And the fire department after coming to the spot brought the fire under control. Except the furniture of the hospital, nothing much was damaged.”
