AAP holds dialogue with parents in Akurdi regarding school education

On behalf of Aam Aadmi Party, a dialogue with parents was held at the office in Akurdi to understand the problems of parents regarding school education. Aam Aadmi Party city president Chetan Gautam Bendre organized the program for parents on behalf of parents.

As per further information shared by Chetan Bendre, the program started by commemorating Savitribai Jyotirao Phule. The program was guided by AAP Maharashtra joint secretary Sagar Patil, former education officer RJ Jadhav, senior social activist Prakash Pardeshi, Dnyaneshwar Nanavare.

In the program, parents raised issues related to fee hike, transfer of teachers, looting in the name of transport, school compulsion to purchase uniforms and other materials, PTA committee, RTE (Right to Education Act) and many other issues.

Former Education Officer RJ Jadhav, while guiding the education system, opined that the problems of parents are serious and the government should address them immediately.

Senior social activist Prakash Pardeshi expressed the opinion that there is a need for such dialogue programs to understand the problems in the society. Dnyaneshwar Nanavare raised questions on the problems of parents and the role of the government.

AAP joint secretary Sagar Patil said that Arvind Kejriwal has created government schools in Delhi and Punjab that put private schools in Maharashtra to shame and he has parents there, so AAP needs to make these changes in Maharashtra as well.

The program was moderated by former headmistress Aruna Silam and Jaideep Suryavanshi, Maruti Waghmare, Poonam Geete, Bhavsar Tai, Kore Tai, Rajendra Shinde, Sunil Bodre, Mohsin Gadkari worked hard to make the program successful. The vote of thanks was done by Chetan Bendre.
