Today (22nd March), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Pune staged a protest in front of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pune office at around 10:30 am against the arrest of Chief Minister (CM) of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal.

As per further information shared by AAP, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) yesterday on March 21, 2024 at 9:30 PM. The arrest of Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate is a political ploy by the Bharatiya Janata Party and this action has been taken in fear of the challenge raised by the Aam Aadmi Party and the I.N.D.I.A Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections.

Party workers who cannot be bought by the BJP are being pressured using investigative agencies like ED and CBI. Even when several political leaders in Maharashtra have been accused of corruption, the BJP has taken them into the party and given them positions in the government and given them big responsibilities.

On the contrary, loyal activists of Aam Aadmi Party like Manish Sisodia, Satendra Jain, who did not succumb to BJP’s pressure, have been put in jail without any evidence. Bharatiya Janata Party is no longer the party of Atal Bihari Vajpayee but it has become the party of Narendra Modi who loots the people of India.

On one hand, Bharatiya Janata Party is accepting thousands of crores of rupees for elections through Electoral Bonds, and while ED is knowingly ignoring it, it is seen that it is taking widespread action against BJP’s political opponents. In view of all this, investigation agencies are being used like a weapon on behalf of BJP and due to the use of these weapons, democracy is getting numerous wounds.

Aam Aadmi Party city president Sudarshan Jagdale said “We are appealing to the public that you should think carefully and vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha. Now is the time to decide whether you want a corrupt government or an honest government.”
