Accident on Pune Bengaluru Highway Update : 2 dead; 4 injured as container collides into multiple vehicles near Dari pul in Jambhulwadi 

Following the terrible accident of multiple vehicles at Jambhulwadi, Dari Bridge on Saturday morning (11th November) at 3:56 am, 6 people had been admitted to a nearby hospital out of which 2 people were declared dead. 

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vinayak Gaikwad, Police Inspector, Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, said “Out of 6 people admitted, 2 people i.e. drivers of the container & bus were declared dead, 3 people are still admitted to the hospital where treatment is going on & 1 has been given discharge. The road has been cleared entirely & traffic flow has been resumed since morning.”

In an unfortunate incident, multiple vehicles collided at Jambhulwadi near Dari Pul, where four vehicles were involved leaving several people injured –

The incident took place at 3.56 AM on 11th November (Saturday) morning when a huge container collided with a luxury bus, tempo and a car.

Four vehicles from the Pune Fire Brigade and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority were at the site & undertook rescue operations after which the people were admitted to a nearby hospital & the road is cleared & traffic has been resumed.
