Action against 3.5k fancy number plates & 1.4k modified silencers taken by Pimpri Chinchwad Police from Jan 2024

From January 2024, the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has taken strict action by issuing fines on vehicles which had fancy number plates & modified silencers.

As per further information from the X handle of Pimpri Chinchwad Police “Fancy Number Plate + Modified Silencers = Waste of Everyone’s Time and Energy. A fine of Rs 25.80 lakh on 3573 vehicles for having fancy number plates and Rs 14.63 lakh on 1464 vehicles for having modified silencers from January 2024 onwards. Please refrain from violating the rules.”
