Pune: Significant administrative changes are evident in the state, preceding the Lok Sabha elections.
A few days ago, 58 IAS officers underwent transfers. Following that, there is now a reshuffle in the position of Pune District Collector. The current District Collector, Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, has been transferred, and Suhas Divase, an IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed as the new District Collector for Pune.
Suhas Divase was previously serving as the Director of Sports and Youth Services. Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, who was in the position of District Collector, will now take on the role of Commissioner of Sports and Youth Services.
This administrative transition reflects a strategic move to infuse fresh leadership into key roles.
Suhas Divase, with prior experience as the Commissioner of Sports and Youth Services, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role as Pune District Collector.
Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, in turn, assumes responsibility for the sports and youth affairs portfolio. These changes aim to enhance administrative efficiency and bring a new perspective to the respective roles.
