As part of preparations for the upcoming municipal elections, Shiv Sena has significantly strengthened its organizational structure in Pune city. Shiv Sena Pune City Chief, Pramod Bhangire, announced that all seats contested under the party’s “Bow and Arrow” symbol in previous municipal elections will remain with Shiv Sena in the upcoming elections.

Speaking to the press, Bhangire stated that ward-wise meetings of Shiv Sena workers are being held across Pune to assess voter preferences in favorable wards. Despite some corporators from other parties joining alliance constituents, the pre-agreed Mahayuti formula will be implemented uniformly across the state. He further revealed that several corporators and leaders from various parties are set to join Shiv Sena soon.

Bhangire emphasized that the party’s strategy for Pune municipal elections will align with decisions taken by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and senior Shiv Sena leaders. Currently, Shiv Sena is focusing on preparing for 40 to 50 seats in Pune, strengthening its organization, and strategizing for the elections.
