It has become a norm for the Pune Municipal Corporation to accept citizens’ suggestions for developmental work in their area. This exercise which has been termed as the citizens participatory budget and has received widespread response among Pune residents.
Participatory budget provides residents the opportunity to propose useful civic works in their respective wards and neighbourhoods.
Interested citizens can fill-in the forms that are available on the website www.punecorporation.org. The forms will be available from August 1st to September 1st.
Physical copies of the forms are available in the respective ward offices and these can be filled-in and submitted by 5.30 pm on September 1st.
