Backed by Adani group, PMPML to set up 7 electric vehicle charging stations in Pune
Pune: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) backed by Adani group will be installing e-vehicle charging stations at 7 places across Pune. The committee of Adani group recently reviewed the earmarked places.
The location will be allocated by PMPML for charging stations at its sites and the funds will be provided by the Adani group. PMPML is expected to get 32% compensation to provide its place.
The charging stations will be set up in Hinjewadi, Baner-Sus road, Katraj, Bhosari, Pulgate, Deccan Gymkhana and Hinjewadi phase 2.
These charging stations will remain open round-the-clock.
“The process of setting up these e-charging stations has been initiated. Along with Adani group, external agencies including MSEDCL will be involved to set up these power stations. The work of stations will be completed as early as possible,” said Prashant Kolekar, Electrical Engineer, PMPML.
