Bhimthadi Jatra to be held in Pune between December 22-26

Pune: ‘Bhimthadi Jatra’ the annual carnival is back to support  women entrepreneurs and self help groups. Every year Sharda Mahila Sangh, with support from Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati, Agri College Pune, Nanded City, Baramati Agro organizes a four-and-a-half day fair at the ground of Agriculture College, Sinchan nagar, Shivaji Nagar Pune. More than 8500 women’s self-help groups have been benefited since last 14 years.

The fair was cancelled in February 2021 at the last moment due to the second wave. This year The Bhimathadi Jatra will be held from 22 to 26 December 2021 following all the rules and regulations of Covid – 19, informed Sunanda Pawar, the organizer of Bhimathadi Jatra.
 
Preservation of rural culture, tradition , quality rural food and unique handmade and handicraft products made by rural women is the highlight of  ‘Bhimathadi Jatra’.

Please note : Punekar need to take note that only those who have received 2 shots of Covid vaccine will be allowed entry for the event.
