Passengers at Kiul Junction in Bihar were seen pushing a train coach, an incident captured in a viral video that has drawn attention and admiration. The video, showing several men successfully moving a train coach while their jubilant cheers echoed through the junction, epitomizes the saying, “Bihar is not for beginners.”

According to a news agency, the dramatic event unfolded on June 6, after a fire broke out in the ladies’ coach of the Patna-Jharkhand passenger train, reducing it to ashes. In an effort to prevent the fire from spreading, passengers and railway employees sprang into action, pushing the adjacent coaches away from the burning one.

They even used stones to break the coupling between two bogies to facilitate the separation. The viral video likely captures the moment these men were separating the train coaches.

This incident isn’t unique in showcasing the collective spirit of passengers in times of crisis. Previously, at Navi Mumbai’s Vashi station, commuters united to push an entire train to rescue a man trapped beneath its wheels. The gripping video of this rescue mission spread across social media, earning widespread admiration and highlighting the city’s indomitable spirit.

The Navi Mumbai incident involved a case of track trespassing. The man was crossing the tracks when a suburban local train bound for Panvel applied emergency brakes, stopping just in time to avoid a disaster. With the man pinned beneath the train, bystanders collectively exerted force to shift the massive 12-carriage locomotive. Initially, their efforts seemed futile, but later, as they collaborated and pushed together, they succeeded. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the man couldn’t survive his injuries.
