Bihar’s “All India Pregnant Job” scam : Fraudsters who offered money for “impregnating” women arrested

A network offering men up to ₹ 13 lakh for “impregnating women” who were unable to conceive with their partners was busted by Bihar police. In Nawada, Bihar, eight persons were taken into custody for allegedly luring men into dubious schemes.

Using various social media platforms, the group operated under the name “All India Pregnant Job (Baby Birth Service)” and attempted to entice men to join a job service where they would have the chance to make money by getting pregnant women pregnant.

The organization used to demand a ₹799 registration fee from prospective candidates. They were then permitted to make security payments in the range of ₹5,000 to ₹20,000.

These men were instructed to receive a handsome sum of ₹13 lakh upon successfully completing their task of conceiving women who were unable to conceive.

The fraud group used to target users of Facebook and even WhatsApp, among other social media platforms. Following men’s registration, the group would send pictures of various girls for selection. 

Following the choice, the victim was required to provide a security deposit in the range of ₹5,000 to ₹2,000. The victim was later promised prize money (in lakhs) by the group in the event of a successful conception.

After the Bihar Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted raids at several locations connected to the scheme’s mastermind, the fraudsters operating the scam were apprehended. The primary accused in the case was able to flee the scene during the raids.

According to a senior police official, the men who were arrested are a part of a larger cybercrime syndicate that operates throughout the country. Nine smartphones and a printer were taken from the locations by the authorities during the raids. More arrests in this case were alluded to by the police.
