Blood donation camp held in Wanowrie
Over 100 people donated blood at the blood donation camp organised by Sahil Shivaji Kedari, president OBC Cell, Pune City District Congress Committee in Wanowrie on the occasion of Rahul Gandhi’s birthday on June 19, 2021.
Sahil Kedari said, “Blood donation is a noble deed. Covid19 pandemic brought shortage of blood. Hence the camp was organised to help patients in need.”
Abhay Chhajed while speaking to the people who attended the camp, said, “Center should have implemented vaccination drive aggressively during the second wave. This could have saved many lives. Even after constantly following up the issue with the center it wasn’t executed.”
Deepak Lagad, senior police inspector Wanawadi police station, Dilip Khedekar assistant commandant SRPF Gr No 1, Abhay Chhajed, General secretary Maharashtra Pradesh Congress committee, Sonali Marne, Arvind Shinde, Avinash Bagwe, Vijay Khaladkar, Vishal Malke, Sachin Adkar, Sainath Babar, Amit Shelar, Prashant Thosar, Ravindra Jambhulkar, Amol Bachal, Sunil Pandit, Satish Gavli, Dinesh Girme, Sudam Jambhulkar, Dattoba Jambhulkar were present.
