Breaking News: Gunshots Fired Outside Salman Khan's Bandra Residence, Police Launch Probe
Mumbai: Gunshots rang out outside Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai, around 5 am when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire. Mumbai Police reported three rounds of gunfire at the Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Promptly, the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police initiated an investigation into the incident, with forensic science experts dispatched to the scene to gather evidence.
Anand Dubey, a leader from the Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed concern over the incident, criticizing the government’s handling of law and order, stating that such occurrences indicate a lack of safety in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

This incident follows a previous threat to Salman Khan’s safety, as in March of the prior year, his office received an email threatening him. Consequently, an FIR was registered against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar by the Mumbai Police.
Given the ongoing threats, Salman Khan has maintained heightened security measures, including continuous surveillance and periodic reassessment of his security arrangements. In November 2023, Khan faced fresh threats on Facebook, purportedly from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Mumbai Police remain actively involved in ensuring Salman Khan’s safety, with security personnel stationed outside his residence as a precautionary measure against potential threats.
