As per further information, the drivers of popular cab companies, which provide cab services at the airport, went on a sudden strike on Friday (6th October) due to relatively low fares for rickshaws. About five thousand passengers were affected. About 400 drivers participated in Friday’s strike.

Cab drivers and owners working are getting lower fares per ride than expected. Compared to that, other cab commissions are higher. Cab drivers only get customers, so they charge higher commissions. Due to this, their income has decreased.
