Case filed against nylon manja seller in Kondhwa police station

15 reels of Chinese manja (nylon manja) was seized from him for selling prohibited nylon manja, which causes harm.

A case has been filed against a nylon manja seller from Ashraf Nagar in Kondhwa today. Prohibited manja worth Rs 8,000 was seized from a seller in Kondhwa area by Pune City Police, Crime Branch Unit 5. A case has been filed under IPC section 188, 336 and Environment Protection Act 1986, section 5. Nylon manja causes severe injury to humans, pets and birds.

The action was taken under guidance of Retesh Kumar, IPS, Commissioner, Pune City Police, Joint commissioner Sandeep Karnik, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Ramnath Pokale, deputy commissioner, crime branch Amol Zende, assistant commissioner of police, Crime branch Zone 2, Narayan Shirgaonkar and Crime Branch Unit 5 officials Police inspector Ulhas Kadam, API Avinash Lohote, police constable Ramesh Sable, Daya Shegar, Ashruba Morale, Shahaji Kale, Pruthviraj Pandule.
