Chandani chowk to remain closed from October 10 for 30 minutes everyday
The work for breaking rock shall be undertaken at Chandani chowk on the stretch towards NDA Chowk (Chandni Chowk) on both sides of the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway for constructing a service road and to undertake new bridge work.
From October 10 till the completion of the work, the traffic at Chandni Chowk will be closed for half an hour from 12.30 midnight to 1 am every day.
At present near the old bridge on the road from Satara to Mumbai – a 3 lane road while from Mumbai to Satara has been widened to 4.5 lane which has drastically reduced the congestion.
The information regarding road closure was informed by project Director S S Kadam, National Highway Authority of India.
