Pune: In front of Balaji Vishwa and KK Kayzan Society as well as in the other societies on Shiv Road in Borhadewadi, the local citizens have demanded that the big potholes should be filled up as the citizens are having difficulty travelling through them.

Sanjeevan Sangale, President of the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation said, “Many roads in Chikhali-Moshi area have large potholes. From the Woods Ville Phase-1 Society to Dehur Road, Shiv Road has potholes at many places and the water has accumulated in them and it has become a pond. The work on this road was done last year with the help of our federation, but the work is of very poor quality. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation should think while giving work to such contractors and ensure that there is no wastage of citizens’ tax money.”

As per further information, Chikhali-Moshi-Charholi Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation President Sanjeevan Sangale has stated in this regard to Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Commissioner Shekhar Singh. On the 18-meter Shiv Road in Borhadewadi Moshi, from Woodsville Phase-1 Society to Balaji Vishwa Society, there are huge potholes. As it is raining heavily, the pit is filled with water. In front of Balaji Vishwa Society and KK Kaizen Society, huge pits of 10×10 are present and rainwater has accumulated in them and it has become a pond.

Therefore, it is difficult for citizens to travel from here, especially women, children, and elderly citizens. There is also a kids’ school on this road and this big pit is right in front of this school. This is causing a lot of trouble to children and parents coming to school. Therefore, Sangale has demanded that all the potholes on this 18-meter road should be filled immediately.
