Clean Pune : Anandvan Foundation conferred with Green Champions of Pune award

The citizens of Pune came together to felicitate the Green Champions of the city at IMA Hall on Tilak Road. The event was graced by the presence of Padmashri Arun Firodia, who presented the awards to the deserving organizations.

The event was organized to recognize the efforts of the individuals and organizations who have been working towards making Pune a greener and healthier city. The awards were presented to Anandvan Foundation, Green Hills Group, Green Thumb, Maharashtra Vriksha Samwardhini, and Nisarg Sevak Vasundhara Abhiyaan for their outstanding work in the field of environmental conservation.

The event was attended by a large number of citizens who came to support and encourage the Green Champions of the city. Speaking on the occasion, Vandana Chavan, the organizer of the event, said, “We are proud to recognize the efforts of these individuals and organizations who are working tirelessly to ensure a greener and healthier future for Pune and the planet as a whole.”

Padmashri Arun Firodia, while presenting the awards, emphasized the need for everyone to work towards environmental conservation. He said, “We need to realize that the environment is not something that we can take for granted. It is our responsibility to protect and preserve it for future generations.”

The event ended on a high note with everyone pledging to work towards a greener and healthier future for Pune and the planet. The Green Champions were applauded for their efforts, and it was an occasion that will be remembered for a long time to come.
