Namakkal, Tamil Nadu – A chilling incident on the Namakkal–Salem Road has gone viral after a driver spotted a snake emerging from his moving car’s side mirror, leaving other motorists terrified.
According to reports, the driver was traveling along the busy highway when he suddenly noticed something moving behind his car’s side mirror. To his shock, a snake slowly began slithering out from behind the mirror while the vehicle was still in motion.
The startled driver immediately started recording the incident on his phone while carefully pulling over to the side of the road. In the video, passersby on two-wheelers can be seen reacting in alarm as they spot the reptile trying to crawl out of the mirror.
Once the car was safely parked, the driver quickly stepped out to avoid any danger. Onlookers soon alerted local wildlife rescuers, who arrived at the scene and safely removed the snake from the vehicle.
Experts have explained that snakes and other small animals often seek warmth and shelter inside parked vehicles — especially near engines, wheel arches, and mirrors — during the colder or rainy months.
