Darshan Guide for Visiting Premanand Ji Maharaj’s Vrindavan Ashram; Devotees include Reknown Celebrities Seeking Peace and Divine Guidance
Growing spiritual influence, celebrity visits, and rising curiosity around darshan rules put Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in the spotlight.
Renowned spiritual teacher Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj, affectionately known as Premanand Ji Maharaj, has become a guiding light for thousands of devotees across India and abroad. Known for his deep devotion to Shri Radha Rani, his uncomplicated lifestyle and heartfelt interpretations of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita have earned him immense reverence.

Born in a village near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Maharaj Ji renounced worldly attachments at a young age and arrived in Vrindavan alone, with no contacts or resources. His early days were spent performing Parikrama and seeking darshan of Shri Banke Bihari Ji.
An elderly saint guided him to visit Shri Radha Vallabh Mandir, where his unwavering devotion won the affection of the temple’s Goswamis. Over time, he became a disciple within the Radha Vallabh Sampradaya, eventually residing at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram on the tranquil Parikrama Marg.

Today, the ashram witnesses an ever-growing influx of visitors who come for darshan, satsang, Ekantik Vartalap (personal spiritual discussions), and spiritual solace. However, many devotees remain unaware of the token system, timings, and registration process, prompting rising inquiries.

Darshan System and Visit Details
- Darshan is free, but tokens must be collected from the ashram itself.
- Devotees must carry an Aadhaar Card for registration.
- There is no official online booking system for personal meetings or darshan.
- An optional coordination service is available for assistance with accommodation and local travel, but it is not managed directly by the ashram.
- Planning in advance is strongly advised due to high footfall.

Celebrity Visits Strengthen Public Interest
Premanand Ji Maharaj’s message of inner peace and devotion has drawn several prominent personalities. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Hema Malini, Mika Singh, Badshah, and WWE wrestler The Great Khali are among those who have visited for spiritual guidance.

During a recent visit, actor-producer Raj Kundra became emotional after learning of Maharaj Ji’s deteriorating health and kidney failure, even offering to donate one of his kidneys. Rapper Badshah was seen listening to Maharaj Ji in complete silence and devotion, while Mika Singh sang hymns of Radha Rani after being inspired by Maharaj Ji’s teachings on naam jaap.

Khali’s young daughter was moved to tears during a spiritual story, prompting Maharaj Ji to remark that she must have been a saint in a past birth.

Why the Growing Attraction?
Devotees say they are drawn to Maharaj Ji for three reasons:
- Simplicity and purity of life, untouched by commercialism.
- Teachings rooted deeply in devotion, the Gita, and the Radha Vallabh tradition.
- A peaceful space amidst modern chaos, where faith, love, and surrender hold more value than rituals.
As crowds continue to grow, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram is evolving into one of Vrindavan’s most sought-after spiritual destinations — not for grandeur, but for its silence, truth, and the quiet presence of a saint who speaks to the heart.
